Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or simply known to the public as Nairobi International Airport is an international airport based in Nairobi, Kenya. The NBO is located at Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya. Previously known as Embakasi Airport, the airport was renamed as the current name Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in 1978 to honor the first president and prime minister of Kenya Jomo Kenyatta.

Among these divisions 1A,1B,1C, and 1E are used for international flights and 1D is used for domestic flights. Terminal 2 is used for low-cost carriers. Jomo Kenyatta Airport serves flights to more than 50 countries which makes it the busiest airport in East Africa.

The airport is used as the gateway for East & Central Africa. More than forty passenger airlines use this airport. Yearly more than eight million passengers travel through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(JKIA).
